The acquisition of Grippo & Elden will take place on 1 March. Shook Hardy opened in Denver last year, in Seatte in 2013 and in Philadelphia in 2012. Among its network, there are two offices based abroad - in Geneva and London.

Grippo partner Michael Conway is becoming vice chair of the combined firm's business litigation and corporate services team.
