A survey by CNN puts lawyers fourth behind dentists, pharmacists and doctors. Lawyers are 3.6 times more likely to die at their own hand than non-lawyers in the US. Many state bar associations are taking steps to deal with the issue, including seven which now include a mental health component as a mandatory part of their continuing professional development requirements. In New Zealand a 'Practising Well' scheme has been developed by the Law Society. Source: LawFuel
