Gibson Dunn has topped a poll of US BigLaw firms charging the highest hourly partner rates. Coming in at $1800, the firm beats Dickstein Shapiro at $1250 and WilmerHale which is third at $1250. Skadden comes in at seventh with its top hourly rate $1150 followed by Baker & McKenzie at $1130. The results were compiled by the National Law Journal which surveyed the top 350 US firms in its annual Law Firm Billing Survey.
Lowest rates
On the list of firms charging the lowest hourly rates, Greenburg Traurig is cheapest at $360 an hour, Jones Day at $445, DLA Piper at $450 with White & Case at $700.
