Matthew Williams, Global Co-Head of the Energy & Natural Resources Group at Hogans, is to become co-head of the Orrick Europe Energy Group. Colleague John Deacon, formerly Global Co-Head of the Renewable Energy Group, is also moving over as is a third energy partner, Edward Humphries. In 2014, Orrick recruited another energy partner from Hogan Lovells, Colin Graham.
Three sector strategy
Douglas Lahnborg, London office leader for Orrick, said: 'This move reflects our continuing focus on developing our London office as a hub for domestic and cross-border investment in the energy, finance and tech sectors.'
