Spanish law firms are seeing growth Imilian

Cuatrecasas, Goncalves Pereira earned €255.4m in 2014, up nearly three per cent  on 2013 - particularly thanks to its corporate/commercial practice which accounts for 35.4 per cent  of income. The firm is aiming for growth of 4.5 per cent over the current year - partly because of forecasts by the International Monetary Fund of a two per cent growth in Spanish GDP.

Uria...in Latin America

Uria Menendez is the fastest grower of the three firms, up 3.6 per cent on last year - to reach €192m of revenues. It expanded last year in Latin America by investing in Philippi, Prietocarrizosa & Uría, the Colombia- and Chile-based firm with which it has a 'best friends' arrangement.

Garrigues...corporate team growth

Garrigues - on a 1.3 per cent growth curve in 2014 - saw the lowest revenue expansion among the Spanish Big Three. It posted income of €335.6m. Even so, growth in the corporate department was just under 8%. Source: Iberian Lawyer
