As well as 66 per cent predicting a hike, there are 27 per cent who expect a 'significant' increase. A year ago the comparable figures were 39 per cent and 6 per cent respectively. The poll took place among 151 medium-sized businesses. While 59 per cent of businesses surveyed said they preferred to deal with lawyers they knew, the remaining 41 per cent prefer to shop around.
