UAE retains top place for expansion in the Middle East

The United Arab Emirates is maintaining its status as the main base for foreign law firms opening up in the Middle East, according to research from recruiters Fox Rodney Search.

The recruiters say that expansion in the UAE was only briefly slowed down by the financial crisis and that new offices have been opening at a regular rate for the last three years. US firms account for half of the new openings. Local lawyers are the most in demand. Source: Recruiter
