HMV Group has turned to long-standing advisors Simmons & Simmons over the sale of its Hammersmith Apollo venue. A joint venture owned by Los Angeles-based Anschuntz Entertainment Group (AEG) and Munich’s CTS Eventim is set to purchase the venue, first acquired by HMV in 2009, for £32m.
The Simmons & Simmons team was led by corporate partner Giles Dennison and also includes partners Ian Wood, Simon Middleton, Charles Bankes and Nick Cronkshaw.
