New York-headquartered Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy has made a high-profile corporate addition to its London team.

The firm has captured competition lawyer Nicholas Spearing. Mr Spearing – formally with magic circle firm Freshfields – will become a partner in the global corporate group.

Philadelphia-based law firm Morgan Lewis Bockius has bagged Christopher Harrison and Peter Sharp to serve as co-managing partners at the firm’s London office.
The firm has also confirmed that mergers and acquisitions and energy transactions specialist Olivier Chambord will relocate from Paris to London as a partner in its business and finance practice.

London-based law firm Russell-Cooke has snapped up Jeremy Sivyer. He will join a team of four other partners in the firm’s commercial team. Mr Sivyer is the honorary legal adviser to the Business Council for Africa (Western and Southern).
