Partner profits have gone up by six per cent in 2014 whilst profits per equity partner rose by 5.7 per cent, according to the latest report from Citi Private Bank. Revenue has also taken an upturn with a 4.5 per cent growth, the report found. The Am Law 50 were most profitable as a result of transactional work which is expected to continue to grow. Litigation, however, is likely to be flat with clients settle cases to save on costs.
