Appalachia: lawyers dodge complaint

The Blog of Legal Times reports that two decisions - one issued in December and another from a year ago – dismissed  the complaint filed against the lawyers with the Office of Bar Counsel in Washington after they submitted a controversial mining industry-related memo in 2011 that raised the question of inbreeding in the region, which stretches from the Southern Tier of New York state to northern Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia.
The firm had apologised at the time and deleted the memo.
