Fort Lauderdale: A lawyer is fighting claims from a former employee over vulgarity Galina Savina

The 150-lawyer firm has received a claim from Dasschinka Storani who was the secretary in the Fort Lauderdale office to Alan Kipnis, a former managing partner of the practice. She was fired by the firm but says, in a sex harrassment claim, that she had to contend with bad behaviour from Mr Kipnis. It is alleged that she had to inject him in the buttocks with vitamin B12 one day, and that he made comments of a sexual nature.

Claim denied

She claims that his comments included the statement 'If I was 30 years younger, what I would do to you' and 'I’ll know when I lost enough weight when I can see my penis'. The firm's chair Jeff Shapiro denied the claim and promised a hard fight against the claims. He said: 'We did an investigation way back when—this goes back some time ago—and we found there was no basis for any liability.' Source: ABA
