The firm is launching the practice on the back of the recruitment of a four-partner team from fellow Washington-based firm Finnegan Henderson Farabow Garrett & Dunner. One of these, John Alison, will head the new office. He had previously been managing partner for Finnegan for ten years in Taipei. He and the other three partners are all patent litigators.
