Jamyra Gallmon, 21, says she had planned to rob the 30-year old IP lawyer, when answering an ad he had put in Craigslist. She had pretended to be a man. She stabbed him seven times in a rooom in the Donovan Hotel and took $40 in cash and a subway card with $172 on it. She says that she had a flashback to a previous attack on her when he grabbed her arm.

Accomplice

Prosecutors will be seeking a prison sentence of between 18 and 25 years. Her roommate, Dominique Johnson, pleaded guilty of conspiracy to commit robbery and faces up to five years in jail.
