The move has still to be put to the vote with partners. Together, the firms would have revenue of £236 million per year. The Lawyer magazine understands that discussions took place over the summer, but neither firm would confirm any such developments.

Merger possibililty

A spokesperson for Addleshaw Goddard said: 'We’ve consistently said that a merger at some point in the future is a possibility we’d consider. It’s an option we keep under regular review, but there’s nothing to report.' Source: The Lawyer
