Duane Morris associate who rapped about judge dies aged 25

Kelly Cosby, co-author of a rap song in honour of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, has died from an aggressive form of melanoma weeks after hearing she had passed the New York bar exam.

Ms Cosby co-wrote the song, Notorious RBG, in 2013 while she was working at the Global Justice Centre. The day before Ms Cosby died, she received a note from the judge saying 'To Kelly Cosby—Thinking of my favorite rapper with appreciation and affection, Cheers, RBG'.

American Civil Liberties Union

The judge is an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the US. Previously, she had worked on a voluntary basis for the American Civil Liberties Union. She spent much time in her career working on women's rights. Source: ABA
