With offices in Rome, Bologna and Milan, RASS currently boasts nine partners among its 28-strong team. Founded in 1995, the Italian firm is renowned for its insurance claims, coverage and litigation expertise and has advised many multinational corporate clients with interests in Italy. Though Kennedys has collaborated with RASS for more than 20 years, the decision to formalise the alliance between the two firms was driven by a growing volume of cross-border and international referrals. Kennedys senior partner Nick Thomas commented: ‘Our formal association with trusted friends at RASS enables us to provide clients with strong litigation and dispute resolution services in Italy, and focus on insurance coverage issues and claims defence work.’ The formal association between Kennedys and RASS marks the latest achievement in the former’s aggressive expansion efforts in Europe, which last year saw a merger with Danish firm Advokatfirmaet Erritzoe two new associations in Sweden and Norway.
