Lowenstein opens seven-lawyer Washington DC office

The 300-lawyer New York-based firm Lowenstein Sandler has recruited four insurance lawyers from Dickstein Shapiro to form the basis of a new office in the US capital.

The newly expanded practice will bring together professionals in the legislative, regulatory, compliance, enforcement and financial litigation practices

Focusing on regulatory issues, the office will also include three Lowenstein partners who are transferring from New York. A larger than needed office space has been leased to provide ‘room to grow’, according to chair Gary Wingens. The Lowenstein Sandler practice also has offices in Palo Alto, California and Roseland, New Jersey. Source: ABA
