Luxury general counsel are heading for London next week to discuss the key issues impacting the sector.

The Luxury Law Summit is next week hadkhanong

Luxury brands from all over the globe and their legal advisers are gathering for the annual Luxury Law Summit at the Four Seasons Hotel in Mayfair, London on Tuesday 19 May next week to discuss current trends in luxury brands.  In its third year, the Summit’s participants will debate how to innovate and how to protect that innovation, how to build a powerful international brand and how to secure and leverage it. International designers and general counsel from Stella McCartney, Aston Martin, Moet Hennessy, Gieves & Hawkes and Georg Jensen among others are speaking and contributing to discussions surrounding luxury brands and their global marketing power. Mary Portas will also be giving an interview to Marion Hume.

This will also be the second year for the Luxury Law Awards, which will celebrate design and legal expertise in equal measure recognizing creativity and entrepreneurship in the industry sector. The judges consisted of many luminaries from the world of fashion and luxury including Hilary Alexander OBE, Antonella Barbieri, Mary-Ellen Field and Rebecca Robins as well as Maurice Mullen.
