Eye on future challenges

The firm, now in its 25th year of operations, has improved on its £11.9m 2008/09 revenue result by 424 per cent over the last seven years. Managing partner John Cahill commented that firm is pleased with its ‘solid’ results, but has its eyes fixed firmly on future challenges: ‘During the year we added 20 lawyers to the headcount including both lateral hires and internal promotions. We are delighted to offer seven new training contracts. We have a busy and challenging year ahead with a number of substantial trials and the launch of trust litigation in September,’ he commented. Major ongoing disputes at the litigation powerhouse include a £4bn shareholder class action against the Royal Bank of Scotland and planned legal action against supermarket Tesco for overstating its profits by £263m in 2015.
