Skadden comes top on associate bonus with extra $10k for high-flyers

Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom is to give its highest performing associates a bonus of $110,000, beating the $100,000 announced by Cravath Swaine and other leading firms which have made their 2015 announcements.

As with last year, Skadden is giving its best performing associates in their seventh year an extra $10,000. But this year, the firm is extending the possibility of that extra $10,000 to associates in their sixth year as well.

Hoping for a little more

Skadden associates appear to have been expecting this kind of bonus declaration. One told Above the Law: 'Hoping for a little more but not surprised. It has been a really busy year for just about everyone, so a drop from last year would have been tough to take.' Source: Above the Law
