The firm announced yesterday that it had made up nine new partners across five different offices around the globe, almost double the five partners promoted last year. While the firm's last round focused exclusively on London, this year the firm has gone for a more even global spread, promoting five new partners in London, one in Paris, two in Hong Kong and one in Piraeus. The batch includes three finance partners, two corporate partners, one IP partner, one employment partner, one tax partner and one litigation partner. The record-breaking promotion round brings Stephenson Harwood's total partner hires to 12 for the 2015/2016 financial year. The new appointments will take effect from 1 May.
