Ostro Energy legal head has returned to private practice. Rachika Sahay, the former head of legal at Ostro Energy, has joined HSA Advocates as a partner, a firm known for its projects and energy practice. Before joining Ostro Energy, Ms Sahay was head of legal for India at Weatherford Oil Tool and prior to this, a counsel at Trilegal, where she began her career.

Polymer Manufacturer Myers Industries Inc has hired a new chief legal officer. Andrean Horton, who has spent the past seven years as the top lawyer at plastics supply company A Schulman Inc, has started in her new role as the executive vice president, chief legal officer and secretary of Myers Industries Inc. An attorney with significant in-house experience, Ms Horton has been named as the chief legal officer to the Ohio-based polymer manufacturing company.

A former general counsel and company secretary and partner at Herbert Smith Freehills has joined newlaw firm Hive Legal as a principal. Susan Taylor has joined Hive from her energy consulting firm, Enertique, and the company says she brings with her a ‘strong international reputation assisting private and public clients in energy regulatory matters and significant commercial transactions in energy markets in more than eight countries.’
