Two in three general counsel now rank data issues at the top of their risk agenda, twice as many as two years ago, according to the soon to be released GC Excellence report. As the UK prepares to introduce new data legislation, 62 per cent of general counsel worry about data security and cyber crime issues. Furthermore,  one in three are now concerned about reputational issues compared with one in five two years ago. The results will be discussed at the GC Futures Summit on 26 September in London with data protection issues one of the key themes at the event.
