Historic attitudes favouring globalisation are fundamentally changing....
General counsel say the business climate is more risky than ever and that the biggest risk to the business is from compliance and financial threats. In research conducted for the GC Futures Summit in London on 9 November, general counsel put regulation and compliance at the top of their list of concerns in the next 18 months followed by risk management and creating value for the company. Also topping their list of worries was data protection, security and cyber issues.
