Formerly a partner at Shearman & Sterling, Zhao advises Chinese financial institutions and companies on a variety of debt and equity offerings in Hong Kong and the US, as well as on regulatory and corporate governance matters. Mr Zhao was a counsel at Simpson Thacher Bartlett’s Hong Kong office before joining Shearman & Sterling as a partner in 2010.
