Mintz Levin cuts back at London office after local managing partner exits

The 450-lawyer, Boston-based practice is no longer to offer European patent prosecution from its London office after the departure of three patent lawyers to Cooley and the decision of the office head, Julian Crump, to leave to set up his own firm.

Julian Crump, a corporate specialist in the pharma sector, has already left Mintz Levin to establish his own practice, Beresford-Crump. Mintz, Levn, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo issued a statement saying: 'Mintz Levin will no longer conduct European patent prosecution from its London office. The London office will continue to offer corporate services and we will continue to provide European patent prosecution through our correspondent firms, including those our former London colleagues have joined.'
