Legal profession must re-engineer

Recent research reveals that lawyers believe the legal profession has to fundamentally change to survive.

Two in three lawyers say the legal profession has to re-engineer to be sustainable as  nearly  two in three clients are demanding cheaper fees.  This in turn is leading to more interest in outsourcing with law firms increasingly looking to cut back on costs by using third party providers. The research was carried out by Scottish Development International for the Legal Outsourcing Handbook.
