Chase Kaniecki is a partner at Cleary Gottlieb, where his practice focuses on international trade and national security matters. Chase advises clients on a broad range of complex regulatory issues, including CFIUS and global foreign direct investment, DCSA/FOCI mitigation, US outbound investment restrictions, economic sanctions, export controls, customs, trade remedies, and US bulk sensitive data restrictions. He has extensive experience guiding clients through foreign direct investment matters, including filing CFIUS notices and negotiating mitigation agreements across multiple sectors, including energy, semiconductors, telecommunications, aerospace and defense, and transportation.
