Ella is an associate in McCarthy Tétrault’s Toronto office. She completed her J.D. at the Schulich School of Law, Dalhousie University, and her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy from Queen’s University. She is a Certified Information Privacy Professional in Canada (CIPP/C). During law school, she supported innovative start-up companies at the Technology and Innovation Law Clinic. She also wrote case briefs on technology and privacy matters for a bi-weekly publication as a Research Assistant at Schulich. In her role as Founder & President of the Schulich Law & Technology Society, Ella hosted speaker events and a pitch competition that focused on developing creative solutions to improve access to justice.
