Felicity McMahon is a partner in Allens’ Competition, Consumer and Regulatory team, and practises in all aspects of competition law, including advising clients on mergers, investigations and enforcement, Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) market studies and inquiries and Australian consumer law. She has a particular interest and experience in advising on complex mergers and structuring of collaborative arrangements, including joint ventures. Felicity also has longstanding and wide-ranging experience advising on the ACCC aspects of global mergers where multiple filings in a range of jurisdictions are required. Felicity has been heavily involved in the development of the new mandatory merger regime, regularly liaising with the Government and the ACCC, and has a detailed understanding of the breadth of its application to a wide range of property, infrastructure and other mergers and acquisitions transactions.
