Kyung Shik Shin is a managing partner of Ashurst Korea JV. He brings 27 years of experience as a public prosecutor in Korea, concluding his public service career as Chief Prosecutor of the Suwon District Prosecutors’ Office. During his tenure, he supervised complex investigations and provided guidance on matters spanning corporate, finance, real estate and fair-trade law. He also served in the Ministry of Justice and Supreme Prosecutors’ Office, where he was involved in extradition, international mutual assistance, and the introduction of Korea’s jury system. At his current practice, Mr. Shin advises corporate clients on a variety of matters, including criminal defense litigation, regulatory compliance, internal investigations, and crisis management.
