Tae-Yong Kim, a Korea-licensed attorney, serves as Chair of HwaHyun’s General Corporate Group. His practice encompasses a broad range of areas, including international litigation and arbitration, civil and administrative litigation, general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, finance and securities, construction and real estate, and technology, media and telecommunications. Mr. Kim brings extensive judicial experience to his practice, having served as a judge in Korean district and high courts for more than 10 years. Prior to joining HwaHyun as senior partner in 2013, he also served as general counsel for Hanhwa Group, where he oversaw all legal affairs for one of Korea’s largest conglomerates.
