Ronnie King is qualified in England and Wales and has practiced with Ashurst since 1984. He has been a partner in Ashurst Korea JV since April 2023. A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Mr. King is one of the most experienced arbitration practitioners based in Asia, appearing as an advocate in international arbitrations and sitting as an arbitrator. He has extensive experience handling complex disputes across a variety of industries, including energy, telecommunications, and insurance. Prior to relocating to Asia, Mr. King acted on some of the highest-value commercial arbitration and litigation cases in the London market, including the largest-ever claim for competition law damages. He has long been recognized in major independent guides in the legal profession, including Chambers and Legal 500, as a leading specialist in arbitration, litigation, and disputes.
