Massimo Antonini is a partner at Chiomenti and a leading practitioner in Italian and international tax law. He advises Italian and multinational clients on complex tax matters, with particular focus on corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, international taxation, transfer pricing and tax litigation. His practice also covers private wealth structuring, trusts and estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and families. Massimo joined Chiomenti in 2004 and became a partner in 2008; he previously worked with Professor Franco Gallo, focusing on tax controversy. He has served as head of the firm’s tax department and is frequently involved in high-profile cross-border transactions and controversy, including proceedings before the Supreme Court. Massimo is a member of the Executive Committee of the International Fiscal Association (Italian branch) and of STEP Italy and regularly speaks and publishes on domestic and international tax law.
