Bird & Bird Associate Nicola Conway supports domestic and international businesses in achieving their growth strategies, both online and offline, with an equal emphasis on business-to-business and business-to-consumer projects. Her work is primarily focused on the following focus sectors: fashion; cosmetics, beauty and fragrance; health, fitness and wellness; home and lifestyle; and luxury industries across the board.
On the business-to-business side, she works with a range of clients from entrepreneurs, early-stage ventures and SMEs through to growing and established multinational corporations. I advise clients based in multiple jurisdictions in order to produce global solutions. Much of Nicola's daily work involves drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements including distribution and supply chain arrangements, and consulting on multi-channel growth strategies across traditional bricks and mortar, e-commerce and m-commerce. Her team pragmatically guides clients in achieving their business objectives, navigating legal and commercial complexities, and avoiding contractual disputes.
On the business-to-consumer side, Nicola counsels consumer-facing brands and businesses on how to seamlessly sell, market and otherwise interact with consumers in the United Kingdom (and around the globe) whilst staying abreast of ever-evolving consumer protection legislation, local regulations and market practice.
