Patricia Volhard is a member of Debevoise’s core group of ESG partners. She is a partner in the Frankfurt, Paris and London offices and focuses on advising private funds on fund formation and structuring, including on the full range of European regulatory issues, and structuring funds for EU insurance companies and pension funds. Ms Volhard is one of Europe’s leading private funds and funds regulatory lawyers and has played a prominent role in the ongoing development of the area. She is the current Chair of Invest Europe’s Financial Services/Regulatory Working Group and a member of its SFDR working group, where she is heavily involved in commenting on the ESG legislative drafts and the interaction with regulators at the Commission. She is also a member of the Board of the BVK and the German private equity association and heads its Legal Committee.
