Sergio is a partner in competition and antitrust at Von Wobeser y Sierra. Previously, he worked for almost 20 years at COFECE, holding positions of the highest responsibility, including director general for contentious affairs, head of the technical secretariat and head of the Investigative Authority. He has participated in hundreds of constitutional control proceedings and supervised merger notifications and investigations on cartels, abuse of dominance, essential factors, and the existence of competition conditions in regulated markets and substantial market power.
