Historic attitudes favouring globalisation are fundamentally changing....
High profile barrister Helena Kennedy QC has a starring role in a new documentary television series on successful women. The Power of Women, which will be broadcast on Monday 26th August on Sky TV, features Ms Kennedy as one of 36 women discussing their journey. The new format, which sees Ms Kennedy in discussion with celebrity Ruby Wax OBE, is a chatshow without an interviewer present to ensure an un-airbrushed conversation.
Unapologetic
Creator Rosemary Reed said she wanted to feature women 'who are unapologetic about their views on Power, Work, Relationships, Equality and their unequivocal drive. These intimate conversations are not only revealing and entertaining, but will inspire and empower viewers to feel they too can accomplish whatever they set their minds to in their life,' she added.
US celebrity lawyer
The series will also feature celebrity US lawyer Gloria Allred, known for her involvement in a number of well-known actions involving the protection of women's rights. The programme will be broadcast on Sky Arts at 10pm in the UK on Monday, 26 August.
