‘By making this move, we are gaining a great new space in which to serve and receive our clients that emphasises efficiency, convenience and collaboration,' said Ken Menges, partner-in-charge of the firm's Dallas office.The 70-year-old firm and some 170 employees, 100 of whom are lawyers and advisors, will make the move to The Union Dallas in the next two years when the project is complete. They will join in the building another law firm Vinson & Elkins and independent accounting firm Weaver.
Major project
Construction began last year on the $300 million, 800,000 square foot mixed-use development that was first announced in 2014. It will include a 22-story Class AA office tower, a 23-story apartment building with retail and restaurant space, an outdoor central plaza and a 60,000-square-foot grocery store.
