The Constitutional Court deemed parts of Armenia's pension law unconstitutional. ruzanna

The temporarily suspended law would require Armenian citizens born after 1974 to put five per cent of their salaries towards a pension fund – which the government must match up to $61/month.  Court chairman Gagik Harutiunian said some clauses “that impose certain obligations to the citizens limit some of their rights guaranteed by the Constitution.”  Harutiunian spoke against the law in light of mass protests against it in Yerevan last month.  Source: Rferl
