Hogan Lovells partner Jeffrey Shane is set to become the general counsel of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
The Lawyer reports that Mr Shane will move from Hogan Lovells Washington DC office to IATA’s headquarters in Montreal in April, when he will succeed Gary Doernhoefer.
Mr Shane has been a partner at the Anglo-US firm since 2008, where he is well known as a domestic and international aviation expert.
The former general counsel of the US Environmental Protection Agency is set to join Washington law firm Beveridge & Diamond as a principal next month.
Scott Fulton, 58, was nominated by President Barack Obama to serve as the EPA's general counsel in 2009, reports Thomson Reuters.
Mr Fulton advised the agency on legal issues stemming from greenhouse gas emission and on environmental policy and regulation, such as the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act.
Entertainment company Lionsgate has renewed the contract of veteran general counsel and chief strategic officer Wayne Levin, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The Vancouver-based company first hired Mr Levin from Trimark Pictures in 2000. He will now continue to report to Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer and work closely with vice chairman Michael Burns and co-COO Brian Goldsmith on M&A activities.
