Global dating heavyweight Match Group has hired Jared Sine as its new general counsel and secretary. Mr Sine is stepping across from travel giant Expedia, where he served as vice president and associate general counsel. Match Group is the world’s leading provider of online dating platforms, with an arsenal including Match.com, OkCupid.com and popular mobile app Tinder. Mr Sine began his career with law firms Cravath Swaine & Moore and Latham & Watkins before moving in-house.

Meanwhile, Vanguard Group has tapped Anne Robinson to become the company’s next GC and managing director of the legal and compliance division. Replacing incumbent GC Heidi Stam, Ms Robinson joins Vanguard from a two-year stint at Citigroup, where she was managing director for general counsel in the global cards and consumer services business. Previously, Ms Robinson spent more than a decade as managing counsel with American Express.

E-commerce platform provider NanoPay Corporation has appointed Tracy Molino to the roles of general counsel and chief compliance officer. Ms Molino joins the company from Bank of Montreal, where she most recently served as senior counsel for both everyday banking and retail credit cards. She received her JD from Queen’s University and earned a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2012, where she studied financial market regulation, regulation theory and the global financial crisis.

Telecom Italia has confirmed this week that general counsel and EVP of legal affairs Antonio Cusimano will be departing the company in September. Mr Cusimano is reportedly headed to a new role as group general counsel at a multinational firm outside of Italy. A successor has not yet been confirmed.

Finally, former US Department of Health and Human Services acting general counsel James Stansel has been named as the new executive vice president and general counsel of the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA). Mr Stansel is joining PhRMA from law firm Sidley Austin, where he is currently co-head of the global life sciences team and a partner in the health care, government strategies and food and drug groups.
