Oil company Rockefeller Hughes has appointed a new general counsel. Gary Lancaster has over 35 years of legal and land experience. He previously worked in-house at J M Huber Corporation and in private practice at Duane Morris and Baker & McKenzie.
Zillow has promoted Brad Owens to general counsel. He will oversee the company's legal affairs and corporate governance. Mr Owens joined the company in 2012 and was previously an associate at Perkins Coie where he worked on Zillow's IPO.
PepsiCo has formally announced that Tony West is joining the company as executive vice president of government affairs, general counsel and corporate secretary on 24 November. Mr West joins from the US Department of Justice, where he served as Associate Attorney General of the United States, the agenct's third-ranking official. He will oversee PepsiCo's worldwide legal function and government affairs organisation as well as the company's global compliance function and the PepsiCo Foundation.
Baker & McKenzie partner Pauline Doohan has taken up a position at energy company SolarReserve. She joines as vice president and general counsel. She has previously worked at MCN Energy, the public utility holding company for Michigan Consolidated Gas Company.
Canadian-based biopharmaceutical company Aeterna Zentaris has hired Philip Theodore as its general counsel, chief admiistrative officer and corporate secretary. Mr Theodore joins the ocmpany from comsumable chemical packaged goods company Zep. He has previously worked for BioReliance, John H Harland Company and Serologicals Corporation and in private practice at Atlanta-based King & Spalding.
