Global heavyweight Ashurst has confirmed that it will be lifting pay for its NQ lawyers in London from £65,000 to £70,000 per year, an increase of around 8 per cent. Over at Norton Rose Fulbright, the increase is somewhat more modest, with NQ pay lifting 3 per cent from £70,000 to £72,000. Down in slightly less dizzying territory, international energy specialist firm Ince & Co will be lifting its own NQ pay packets by 5 per cent from £59,000 to £62,000 per year, while private client firm Withers is stepping-up pay for its own juniors by 7 per cent from £56,000 to £60,000.
