The firm reported its gross revenues jumped 7.9 percent to $704.5m in 2015, an increase from $653m the year before. The firm's net income rose 0.5 percent to $301m, up from $299.5m in 2014. But its profits per partner climbed more steeply, rising 6.2 percent to $1.8m from $1,700,000 in 2014.
Andy Baker, the managing partner of Baker Botts, commented that while commodity prices were down, the firm’s diversity meant it saw ‘strong performance across the board.’ He noted that eight of the firm's top 15 revenue-generating are in the high technology sector and notably do not fall into the energy industry.
