The partner duo will be joining Bakers this month alongside five associates. Mr Richards has served as head of KWM’s regional employment practice for the last six years, while Mr Holder most recently served as head of the firm’s China Group. The associates joining the pair have been drawn from both the private equity and employment practice groups. The hires come as KWM’s embattled EUME business prepares to call in administrators before 16 January. Bakers managing partner Alexander Chadwick commented: ‘Both [Mr Richards and Mr Holder] bring many years of experience and expertise in their respective practice areas, which will strengthen our existing capabilities and prove invaluable to our clients.’
