In its new Global Mining Guide, the firm reviews 28 mining jurisdictions on their legal regulations, developments and framework. Looking at South Africa, Egypt and Morocco, it concludes that they are carefully following each other's progress, thus creating a similarity of approach which should encourage some confidence in investors.
