Blank Rome raids Duane Morris and Reed Smith to open office

The 500-lawyer international practice Blank Rome has recruited four litigation partners from Duane Morris and a fifth from Reed Smith to form the basis of its new Pittsburgh office which opens today.

George M Medved, formerly managing partner of the Duane Morris office in Pittsburgh, a construction litigaiton specialist, heads the new office. He said: 'This is an invigorating move for us.
