The merger will take place on 1 March, if it gets regulatory clearance. The firm is known for providing local support to international law firms in the French-speaking nations. The merger will bring 15 bilingual English/French lawyers into the Africa Group of Bowman Gilfillan. Jonathan Lang, head of the Africa Group, said: 'This allows us to advise clients across Africa, whether in a single country or a multi-jurisdictional basis.' Source: Legal Brief
